Tuesday, September 17 is an early dismissal day for all grades at Clio Area Schools

The CHS Homecoming Parade 2024 will take place on Friday, October 11, 2024. Line-up will take place from 3:45-4:45 PM and the parade will begin promptly at 5:00 PM. Parade participation is limited to Clio businesses/organizations. There is a $50 fee for businesses to participate. The deadline for payment is October 1, 2024.

Clio Area Schools has one of the top staffs in the area. That's not just us talking. The State Board of Education apparently agrees, naming Clio High School math teacher Sasha Wakefield as Regional Teacher of the Year. Congratuations Sasha!

It's not too late! Clio Area Schools has extended its School of Choice window through September 6 at 3 p.m. That means your student can receive a Clio education even if you don't live in the district, but you have act soon. This extension won't be repeated.

Do you need shots for your student? Today from 2-6 there will be a shot clinic at Clio Elementary! Please park in the north parking lot (nearest to Wilson Rd.) and go in Door #7. The clinic is in STEAM Lab-Room #502.
Clio Elementary School (CES) welcomes new students in two weeks! Join us on Tuesday, August 27th, to learn about CES and how to engage in your child's educational experience.If you’ve registered but haven’t submitted the necessary documents, please do so today to receive your classroom teacher assignment next week.

Final Summer Rec 4-10 year old Summer Camp experience next week (Mon Aug 12-Thurs Aug 15, 9am-2pm). There are 12 slots still available to the quickest responses from interested families. A meeting of the Committee of the Whole of the Clio Area Schools Board of Education will be held on Wednesday, July 17 beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the Henry Hatter Board Room at 1 Mustang Drive, Clio fora the purpose of Policy Review.
The Board of Education meeting scheduled for Thursday, July 11 will begin at 5:00 p.m. with a Policy Review followed by the regular board meeting at 6:00 p.m. in the Henry Hatter Board Room, 1 Mustang Drive, Clio. Good Morning 3rd grade Families!
We are excited to invite you to join us for the 3rd Grade Clap Out. As safety for every child and staff member is our number one priority, we are asking that you follow a few important guidelines:
1. Please either remain in your car OR stand outside the building in the locations designated on the attached map. You may park your car in the pick up line.
2. After the clap out please returned to your parked vehicle to proceed with normal dismissal procedures.
3. Students will be dismissed as normal. We will NOT check your student out early.

On Monday CES will take 5 school pictures on our playground. One will be of the whole school. The other 4 will be of each grade level. We are asking that students and staff wear the color of shirt that represents their grade level:
K-ORANGE
1st-YELLOW
2nd-BLUE
3rd-GREEN
